Frequently asked questions
How does it work?
All you have to do is apply above with details about the employment or internship and our students will be able to view all available positions internally and apply! You will then receive their expressions of interests directly to your mailbox.
What happens next?
When you receive an expression of interest in your mailbox, that will include the student's contact details. If they are a good match with your company, feel free to arrange an interview and see if they could be a good fit for your company!
What does it cost me?
INCO does not charge anything for these services! We want to see our students succeed so it's completely free!
What you decide to pay (or not pay) the students is up to you! We like to be an open book so be sure to specify whether the internship/employment is paid or unpaid when submitting your application.
Feel free to negotiate with students during the interview.
What's in it for the students?
Our students are trying to break into the Australian tech industry, so we're a gateway to help them on their journeys. With the struggles of finding experience but also needing experience to start a job, INCO's establishing a connection between start-ups and students so they can be prepared to break into their first tech role.
What's in it for INCO?
As a not-for-profit, our success is measured by the outcomes of our students. The more students we place into further education, internships, or full-time jobs, the better for us. The gap in the industry has left approximately 200,000 unfilled Australian tech jobs, we want to narrow that gap and support Australia in becoming an authority in the global technology sphere.
